Ikigai Cosmonaut - ‘Singularities’ Out Now!
You must already be aware of our love for spontaneous album drops right? - We are today delighted to both welcome and celebrate Ikigai Cosmonaut’s new album ‘Singularities’! Now out through Petite Victory Collective.
Here’s some words from Ikigai Astronaut concerning this release: ”The term "Singularity" originated in Albert Einstein's 1915 Theory of General Relativity, denoting a point in the Universe where our known laws of physics break down. Intrigued by the concept of uniqueness, I explored Singularities in a music album.
The album initially centered on the idea of errors and flaws, questioning their nature and societal judgments. Originally named 'Error,' the concept evolved into a compilation of tracks, each exploring a singular theme. Drawing from my attraction to singular and unique concepts in life, I crafted a sonic interpretation for each theme, creating a soundtrack that evokes curiosity.
The intentional openness to various music styles allows each track to stand alone as a singularity. I aimed for a seamless progression through the album, with tracks leading into one another, mirroring the idea that singularities lead to new singular things. The order builds a crescendo, transitioning from melancholic and melodic to rhythmic and energetic, offering diverse emotional experiences.
This album represents my musical journey, merging past and present, combining my favorite genres into a singular, sensorial experience. As a lover of fusion and experimental music, I aimed to provoke multifaceted thoughts and emotions. Singularities, to me, is about embracing unique truths.”
