MEET THE MACHINES | July 20, 2024

We are thrilled to announce MEET THE MACHINES, initiated and led by our very own Nogasayan in Hannover, Germany. PVC’s main focus has always been to create a platform to connect, perform, and exchange with other artists and electronic music enthusiasts. Bringing people together, forging new connections, and creating lasting memories within the collective is our on going mission!

Come dive with us into the depths of sound synthesis. MEET THE MACHINES celebrates analog and digital sound generation, bringing together artists from the electronic live music scene with hardware enthusiasts and gear nerds.

We're starting in the afternoon, inviting all synthesizer freaks, gear nerds, Dawless enthusiasts, and hardware lovers to join discussions on workflows, setups, gear, as well as insider tips for production and performance. Connect, initiate projects and collaborations, and exchange the latest synth gossip. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to share knowledge and connect with other synthesizer enthusiasts.

Feel free to bring a device of your choice and use our open stage to make our butts shake with your synthesizer, groovebox, or modular rig. Found someone you're musically in sync with, and they also have a device? Great! With just a MIDI connection, you can jam together directly on our open stage. The possibilities are as endless as the soundscapes you'll create.

The open stage is open from 3-6 pm, and our evening program starts at 7 pm.

We've invited 5 electronic live acts from Petite Victory Collective from 5 different cities to pamper you with handmade electronic live music ranging from Deep Tech to Melodic Techno. Of course, you can chat with the artists about their used equipment and workflows before and after the gigs, because our artists are just as much nerds as you are.

Line-up:

Deega (IT) is a solo electronic music project from Hardware enthusiast & Ableton Live user Nicolò Di Gabriele in the Genre of Minimal Techno

Nogasayan (DE) plays electronic music live and raw with hardware only setups.

Miles Kvndra (DE) is an electronic musician and artist based in Cologne, Germany. His deep melodic sound contains elements from several genres such as minimal/melodic/ambient techno and deep/organic house.

59 Perlen (CH) is a Music Artist and Live Act based in Zurich, Switzerland. He produces and performs house and ambient sets with various hardware setups for diverse audiences. The often minimalist tracks tell a story by combining dubtechno and ambient atmospheres while they still remain danceable.

Sholinger (DE) is a producer, engineer and sound-designer from Berlin - His spectrum varies from minimalistic to abstract. Hypnotic rhythms, dark samples and elements from analog and digital synthesis leads the mind to another level. Most tracks are produced while traveling abroad with a mobile setup and are then tweaked, mixed, and mastered in his studio (Room4Sound) in Berlin.
