Petite Victory Collective Welcomes Dan Fur

We're today delighted to officially welcome Dan Fur in the family.

Dan Fur first started producing and noodling with synths around 2016 and ever since he discovered what a synth really was, it changed everything for him. Following that discovery, he quickly became so focused and excited with synthesis and sound as a whole. - “I immersed my self in all things sound and synthesis both in the realm of music, but also in film and television. Currently I work for a post production studio working mostly with six and dialogue for film and tv, as well as running my own studio “Dan Fur Productions” where I focus specifically on electronic music mixing mastering and mentorship.”

Dan Fur’s influences and music styles range from a really broad array of artists and sounds, and it never quite settles for long. - “At the root of it all, is the discovery of electronic music for me around 2007. My friends and I would blast techno in one of my friends car that had a solid sound system and it would shake the mirrors. we would just drive around at lunch blasting tunes having the best time. Through the discovery of electronic music I quickly started exploring all the various sub genres I could and was immensely influenced by trip hop and the more downtempo music I would fine. The more I kept digging the more I kept finding I enjoyed the more experimental sounds electronic music had to offer. These days I find my electronic influences are a bit more rooted in more classic genres such as techno, drum and bass dubstep, psy-trance and house. But the experimental nature of my love of electronic music still lies on and what I aim to create is never rooted in just one realm.”

We’re delighted to announce that Dan Fur’s upcoming album ‘Afterthought’ is due to be released on May 19th through yours truly.
