Petite Victory Collective Welcomes Inoba
We're today delighted to officially welcome Inoba in the family.
Inoba is a character from the story told by Nicolas Bugaud, a French composer, illustrator and writer. This avatar tells the adventures of his crew members throw this music project and a futur upcoming graphic novel. The story is about a flying ship named the NIGÖMIR. This Aerostats is hovering above a land where fleet flying islands on top of some dramatic landscapes. The motley crew of this aircraft is lead by a strange and mysterious character, INOBA, a peaceful mage-knight who try to find a way for his companions through the chaotic world they live in. Welcome to Inoba’s universe where you are invited to contemplate sonic landscapes where flying ballons are floating through giant trees canopy, lost cities hidden on top of gigantic mountains...
Nicolas Bugaud aka Inoba is an electronic music producer based in Malmö, Sweden, making songs somewhere between downtempo electronica, trip-hop and melodic techno. Nicolas is playing drums, clarinet and using either vintage and modern synthesizers to achieve his music collage blending naïve melodies with fat drum beats. On his first album you can hear songs written this past 10 years on many configurations, recorded in many places (France, Belgium, Sweden...) with a lot of sounds coming from analog synths mixed with field recordings from a long trip in Asia (India, Nepal, Laos Thailand...) and it is during this trip that the idea of joining his two passions, drawing and composing, in one project appear.
We’re delighted to announce that Inoba’s upcoming album ‘The Nigomir Crew’ is due to be released on January, 20th through yours truly.
