JAM 2023 #3 (Octatrack / Analog 4) [techno/house?]
A simple bass, an arrogant synth (yes, it sounds like an inconvenient person) and a hypnotic pad. A hybrid rhythm between techno and break(big)beat. The creation of this pattern did not come on the first try, I started by redoing the rhythmic base 3 times before adding the melodic elements. Sometimes you have to persevere!
The octatrack manages the general BPM, but also the whole rhythmic part (+1 tonal element of tension).
The Analog Four (A4) takes care of the melodic, bass and synth elements.
The bass, synths and octatrack are recorded separately via a Motu ultra lite mk3 on Logic X. The whole thing is then mastered via Landr.
