59 Perlen

My remix of "Ziris -Deux" got released this Friday! The song is originally a very intense avangardish song with a lovely organ theme, which I have processed my own way into a 59ish dubtechno-influenced 5 min. arrangement. It's important to me that listeners can recognise the original version of a remix in a way. Otherwise it's not a remix for me :D In this case I kept the main melody as a complete 30 sec. sample and refined it with my own song effects.

I also use some drum shots from the original. What makes this track a bit special is the production workflow itself, because lately I've started to produce tracks entirely in Ableton's Clip view so that I can incorporate them into my live sets much easier. By the way, "Deux (59 Perlen Remix)" will have its live premiere during a show I gonna play on March 14 at Messe Frankfurt, booth 10.2 C75 at the Belimo booth party.
