Rupture // Rapture
Rupture // Rapture, the stage name of Rob Tulley-Rose, West Sussex based electronic music producer and performer. A project which has moved through various forms of minimal, progressive techno with experimentation and melody at it's heart, forging a unique sound in melodic techno.
All tracks written live on hardware - drum machines, samplers and synths sequenced before being fine-tuned in the studio. Part of the exciting independent music label and collective Petite Victory Collective, focusing on new talent in the DAWless and hardware based scene with an aim to bring electronic music with a story to tell.
New EP 'Abandon' was written in the Summer of 2022, after a short break and a renewed energy which is reflected in the material. Following limited opportunites during the pandemic years, recent live shows have brought this energy to the front to create a unique live experience. A darker sound sits alongside a mixture of deep bass, driving beats, scattered percussion, soaring melodic synths and atmospheric vocal samples.
