PVC INITIATIVES

OUR CURRENT INITIATIVES ❯❯❯

Engaging the music community to take action for the environnement is definitely on our to do list. Mostly because there’s no planet B! We are trying to use these challenging times to develop our creativity while pushing boundaries.

Minimal City Vol. 3

Minimal City Vol. 3 is now available directly through Petite Victory Collective. 100% of the donations will be directed to our donation fund, which will be allocated to a cause we will be supporting later this year. Join us in our journey toward a more sustainable and harmonious world through the power of music.

  • For those who have been with us since the very beginning, you are well aware that sustainability and eco-friendliness lie at the core of our collective's values. We actively address ecological concerns through our music compilations and a variety of events that champion ecological initiatives.

In this third installment of Minimal City, our artists embarked on a unique journey, crafting tracks using an array of samples and field recordings gathered from their respective surroundings. These sources range from the ambient sounds of shops and restaurants to the whispers of nature and the vibrant conversations of people, all ingeniously woven into their tracks.

We take immense pride in the collaborative effort behind this compilation, which aims to contribute to a greener world. With a diverse range of music styles, including minimal house, ambient, surrealist, DAWless, and electronic, there are undiscovered musical treasures awaiting all you music enthusiasts out there.

Furthermore, all proceeds from the sales of 'Minimal City Vol. 3' will be directed to our donation fund, which will be allocated to a cause we will be supporting later this year. Join us in our journey toward a more sustainable and harmonious world through the power of music.

  • You can help by grabbing the compilations and helping spreading the word. We’re eternally thankful for your time listening and caring the way you do.

PAST INITIATIVES ❯❯❯

MNNW

MNNW (Make Noise Not War) is available directly through Petite Victory Collective.

100% of the donations will be funnelled directly toward UNICEF. Conflict in Ukraine poses immediate threat to children. This organisation is working to scale up life-saving support for children and their families.

  • The catastrophe that is unfolding in Ukraine these days leaves us wordless. No words to describe our pain, no words to express our sadness, and no words to state our support to the victims of war. The PVC crew and all our artists friends around the world decided to put together a pop-up compilation project to convey this support in our very own way.

Art is one of the best tools we have to spread the love and support as much as we can. 🇺🇦

  • Workshop around Electronic Music, Sampling and Sustainability.

The kids from Prins Henriks Skole will produce samples from trashes that our artists will be able to use for future projects and compilations. We’re very pleased to be able to use Petite Victory Collective as a pedagogical and ludic tool with kiddos as well!

This project is intended to provide a musical educational supplement to kindergarten and elementary schools. The proposed musical sessions will be accompanied and supervised by our speaker. The sessions can be done in French, Danish or English. They can be held by half-group or by whole class. The duration of the sessions will vary according to the class level in kindergarten or elementary. However, they will not exceed 60 minutes.

Musical awakening activities involves, among other things:
    - Language: Discover the modulation of your voice.
    - Listening: Identifying, locating noises, sounds, voices.
    - The expression of emotions, feelings.
    - Participate in a group activity.
    - The pleasure of listening to the teacher/animator play an instrument/sing.
    - Discover the rhythm.
    - To feel part of a group to sing/play together.

The parallel objectives can be multiple with variations adapted to the level of the class.

    But still:

. Live together . Socialize . Communicate . To share . Speak out . Asserting yourself . Gain trust . Build up a common cultural heritage (belonging to a group).

#ArtForOcean

We’re launching our first clean up day on March 26th in collaboration with Nordic Ocean Watch through ‘Art For Ocean’.

  • Petite Victory Collective is happy to launch its first International #DeTrash day on March 26th. You can walk around your neighborhood, scout the road, or even get to the closest beach. You should go to the nearest place where you can pick up the most trash.

Over here in Denmark we will work hand in hand with Nordic Ocean Watch through their project "Art For Ocean". After supporting them in 2021 with our two first compilations, we're happy to be able to share a new event with them. We will use this occasion to record and sample all sounds we can get from the trash. We’re embracing the concept of ‘Recycled Music’.

All the samples will be available for purchase in April. 100% of the benefits will be funneled to a local sustainable organization. (TBA)

  • You can walk around your neighborhood, scout the road, get to the closest beach. You should go to the nearest place where you can pick up the most trash.

Make sure you have what you need. We recommend you wear gloves and wash hands when you return home.

Snap photos and document your day. Send it over to castlecollective.pro@gmail.com for us to be able to showcase you in future posts and articles.
