"The Fever Dream" Have you ever experienced a fever dream-ish state? Had that lately, unfortunately, due to a Covid infection. It all starts with some shallow dreamy sequence. All good and quite lush, but even when asleep, you realize, that it is different - never ending, goal-less, repeating itself. And some small tiny elements make you feel uncomfortable. Then when you try harder and harder to break out of that loop, reality starts to distort. And the loop remains. Meandering around small, disturbing fragments, ever-repeating pictures, sequences and emotions, it is driving you into a claustrophobic state where paranoia is kicking in. Later, with the fever lowering and with great relief, you are able to reach the initial lush state, again.
And get awake with a sweat covered shirt.
