"Spring is in the air. Love is everywhere. Let’s turn it into music! Presumably the oldest sentence in the Dutch language: "Hebban olla uogala nestas hagunnan hinase hic anda thu uuat unbidan uue nu." Roughly translated: "All birds have started nesting, except you and me - what are we waiting for?"
A love note from the Middle Ages, still as relevant today. But what does love sound like in music? In April, we’re diving deep into the ultimate soundtrack of love. Birds are building their nests, flowers are blooming, and the world is buzzing with life. Love-one of the most powerful forces in nature, literature and folklore-takes many forms, and I’d love (no pun intended) to hear how you translate it into sound. The ultimate love soundtrack.
Should it be dreamy and sweet? Dark and obsessive? A slow, hypnotic groove or an electrified, heart-racing anthem? Maybe love isn’t soft at all-maybe it’s raw, chaotic, pounding with energy.
