SONIC PLAYGROUND 2024 | Basement CPH

A huge thank you to all the sonic explorers who joined us last Saturday night! We're still absorbing the energy from this unforgettable weekend with the entire PVC family. Welcoming our community and friends from across Europe, the USA, and Canada made this gathering in Copenhagen truly special.
These events go far beyond music; they’re a celebration of connection, creativity, and shared experiences, reminding us of the joy of friendship and collaboration. So many unforgettable moments with such a passionate and dedicated team!
This year, we were thrilled to host hands-on workshops, premiere Bernardo San Rafael and 59 Perlen's new exhibition, The Maze, and feature a range of sounds from ambient and modular explorations to minimal and fast techno. It was a night full of hardware and synth action, making each moment as electrifying as the next.
Sharing this experience with our local and international artists was something truly unique – definitely one for the books. New sonic ventures are already on the horizon... but we’ll save those details for later!
Special thanks to the entire team at Basement CPH for their hard work, trust, and for lending us a perfect space for this experimental setup. And extra thanks to Musikforeningen RUSK for their belief in our core values and mindset. Having local actors like them standing behind our project is a driving force that keeps this yearly event thriving. It not only empowers us but also helps cultivate a vibrant and inclusive local music scene. Together, we are building something truly special, and we are incredibly grateful for their partnership.
** If you joined us for this third edition, we’d love to hear your thoughts! Your feedback helps us keep growing and improving. Thank you for being part of this journey!
Extra kudos to:
We need to address as well extra kudos to the whole PVC fam for an absolutely spectacular weekend. The amount of love and good karma was unreal. To our dedicated Awareness Team: Pauline and Madeleine for their extra help on helping providing an environment of acceptance and respect. To our friend Balínt for the stunning live visuals. And finally to our favorite “hype man” Carsten who proved to be the best entertainer we could wish for!
