AWITW - ‘Solitude, My Love’ Out Now!
'Solitude, My Love' by AWITW is now out through Petite Victory Collective.
Here's some words from our artist concerning this new release: 'The release of this album for me is the culmination around the idea of emancipating myself in a lonely lifestyle. Basically I wanted through these warm and nostalgic sounds, inspired by artists that I love like Synkro, Sieren, or Akuratyde, a kind of comfort in a fake feeling of freedom that I reassured myself to have found in a life removed from society.
I realized I was going the wrong way. I think, as Adèle Haenel would say in the french movie Portrait De La Jeune Fille En Feu, that to be free is not to be alone. To feel truly free, we must open up to people, share with our social environment.
This album marks for me the beginning of my reopening to the world, to people, finding a kind of confidence, like a forgiveness.
A big thank you to friends 59 Perlen and Atlas Castle for accepting to work on this project with me, with two fantastic remixes.’
