Petite Victory Collective Welcomes UJTB

We're today delighted to officially welcome UJTB in the family.

UJTB (Uncle Joe the Bear) is a Sicilian electronic music producer, synths enthusiast and an adult nursing lecturer based in the North-West of England, Saint Annes on The Sea. UJTB started his music path when he was 17 years old. Fascinated by the world of electronic, minimal-techno music, he asked Google “how this music was made”. He soon fell into the rabbit hole of Propellerheads Reason, a fantastic hardware-like digital audio workstation and, like this, he began his journey.

His passion was fuelled by local music enthusiasts and DJ’s whose influence shaped his music taste. Once qualified as a nurse, at the age of 22, UJTB moved to the UK. A different music culture and electronic background soon made a huge impact on his production which led him into acquiring his first synthesiser: Korg MS20-mini. This was a gateway to the Eurorack world. His music became more abstract and experimental, until he entered the world of tracker sequencers which led him into further exploring IDM, Jungle and Breakcore. UJTB’s latest EP is “Sul Mar” available on major streaming platforms.

UJTB’s new EP: 'Where the ocean meets the land' is due to be released this Friday through yours truly - Save the date!
